Pre-launch
Unclone is not on sale yet. These terms describe how the app works and will be completed before launch (final price, license and refunds).
What Unclone does
The app finds duplicate items and shows them in groups. Nothing is deleted without your confirmation. On the Mac the default is to move items to the Trash, where you can recover them until you empty it. If you choose “Delete forever”, or empty the Trash or Recently Deleted, the data will be lost permanently.
Your responsibility
Review the groups before confirming, especially “similar” photos and “same song” groups, which are suggestions and not identical copies. Keep backups of important files.
License (at launch)
Scanning will be free. Cleaning up will require a yearly license, valid for one computer at a time, renewing yearly and cancellable at any moment. Payment will be processed by Lemon Squeezy.
Warranty
The app is provided as is, built never to delete the last copy in a group. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by items you confirmed for deletion. This does not limit consumer rights granted by the law of your country.
